The role
As a Research Director, you will be responsible for the management and execution of day-to-day affairs of the company’s qualitative and quantitative research projects. You will ensure that all the deadlines are met and the research projects are completed in accordance with the requirements of the client. Additionally, you will act as a representative of the company with the client to understand their working nature and goals and implement them in the research project to assist them in achieving their aims and objectives.

The role
As a Project Manager, you will be in charge of all project management activities in the quantitative department. What you’ll do

  • Assist in designing research methods, developing research questions, choosing research techniques, preparing questionnaires, collecting data, making analyses and preparing reports and proposals
  • Plan, coordinate and execute assigned research projects
  • Supervise team members on a daily basis to complete research projects within deadlines
  • Act as an initial contact point for project queries and issues
  • Update budgets and invoicing schedules, and monitor project costs versus budget
  • Identify areas of improvement and develop new methodologies to meet milestones

Knowledge and experience

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the social or market research industry
  • Undergraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. social sciences, psychology, sociology, public health)
  • Outstanding project management and communication skills
  • Adept at using SPSS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant software packages
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines
  • Strong understanding of sampling/sample design, questionnaire design, weighting, statistical analysis and reporting

The Role
