Market Research Consultant to finance clients

They deal with some of Australia’s most well-known businesses and have extensive knowledge and experience in B2C and B2B markets across a wide range of sectors, with a strong focus on financial services. 

Our client has a dedicated team of financial specialists, CX, consumer and business intelligence, data science and analytics consultants that help clients make evidence-based choices to increase sales and revenue.

The role

As a consultant, you will provide strategic analysis NPS data, as well as ad-hoc analytical requirements Australia’s largest bank.This opportunity offers the best of both worlds: a client-side role together with the technical rigour of a supply-side agency. This role requires you to offer strategic insight and evidence-based recommendations to high-profile stakeholders.
Moreover, it requires you to act as the point of contact and bridge between the company and the client to ensure smooth communication and coordination. It also requires you to interact with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

What you’ll do

  • Provide strategic advice and insights to a high-profile Tier 1 bank to ensure the client’s objectives are met
  • Work with statistical and analytical practices to communicate findings to internal teams within the client organisation
  • Make reports, proposals and presentations to show your findings and insights
  • Provide client-ready deliverables directly to the client’s needs in a timely fashion
  • Act as a company representative within the client organization, advocating for the programmes and providing actionable insights.
  • Work autonomously to deliver the required client-ready outputs under the priorities set by the client  

Knowledge and experience

  • Graduate degree in relevant fields such as project management, organizational behaviour, finance, financial management and others
  • At least one year of market research experience
  • Sound knowledge of the financial services sector
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good at writing reports, presentations, proposals and documentations
  • Adept at using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Knowledge of MS Office such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Self-directed and motivated
