The role
  
As an Associate Director, you will be in charge of supervising, implementing and executing the company’s projects. You will collaborate with a team of eager and self-motivated social and market researchers to find unique and cutting-edge solutions to the clients’ business problems and challenges. You will help them improve their current methods and make data-driven recommendations to help them accomplish their goals and objectives. Moreover, you will closely coordinate with all the internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of the projects.  
  
  
What you’ll do
  

  • Take a proactive approach to identify client issues impacting their business
  • Use a fresh-thinking approach to create behavioural change based solutions
  • Work closely with the communication specialists in media relations and other departments
  • Direct and oversee the company’s research policies, objectives and initiatives
  • Brainstorm with a client to determine project needs, objectives and desired outcomes of each research initiative
  • Formulate a plan and present it to senior management or the client
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices
  • Design specific research methods such as questionnaires
  • Manage existing client accounts and continue to market existing and new research services

  
  
Knowledge and experience
  

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field
  • A minimum of 6 years of social research or market research experience
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to give attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational and management skills
  • Strong client engagement and presentation skills
  • Well-honed qualitative research skills
  • Experience in social and public policy research
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
