Our client is a market research consultancy firm that blurs the line between data, human behaviours and how clients need to react to customers in both B2B and B2C arrangements. They have more than 20 years of experience in using data to understand consumer behaviour, attitudes, preferences and requirements to assist businesses to customise their products and services.
They have a team of highly professional data scientists, data analysts, market researchers, marketing consultants, research strategists, economists and communications experts committed to transforming clients’ businesses with the aid of data-backed recommendations. 
The role
As a data analyst, you will work with a team of self-motivated and enthusiastic market researchers to analyse data to assist global brands in customising their products and developing targeted marketing and communication strategies. Moreover, you will provide reports and presentations to assist clients in making informed decisions to boost their business. Furthermore, you will also work with the clients to identify gaps in their strategies and provide data-driven solutions to fix them. 
What you’ll do

  • Work with client lists, questionnaire design, programming, data analysis, data visualisation and reporting
  • Collect, clean, pre-process, analyse and interpret data and draw actionable insights
  • Prepare reports, proposals and presentations
  • Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining and data cleansing
  • Analyse the data and show the outcomes in the form of charts, graphs and other data visualisation forms
  • Support project management and data integration
  • Develop and maintain databases, data systems – reorganise data in a readable format
  • Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
  • Prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data

Knowledge and experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the social or market research industry
  • A degree in the relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other
  • Outstanding analytical and critical abilities
  • Sound knowledge of Q and DisplayR
  • Adept at data analysis and data visualisation tools
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
