Our client is a leading global consultancy firm that is best known for reputational, public and corporate affairs as well as campaign and communication research. The role
In this role, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day affairs of qualitative research, including conducting designing interviews, collecting data, analysing data and driving actionable insights to make informed decisions. In addition, this role requires you to act as a liaison between the company, stakeholders and clients.

The intriguing aspect of this position is that you will work on a wide range of initiatives in the media, industry, government and community. You will have the opportunity to be fully aware of what is going on in society and to apply your skills and expertise to create data-driven solutions to society’s challenges. Furthermore, you will train and guide the new researchers.

What you’ll do

  • Supervise, manage and lead the qualitative research team
  • Conduct qualitative fieldwork, conduct interviews, manage focus groups, collect data and analyse the data to derive insights
  • Contribute to qualitative research work as required
  • Work closely with clients and act as a point of contact for the client within the company
  • Use data analytics to extract valuable insights to drive informed decisions
  • Develop reports, prepare proposals, make compelling presentations and present them to clients, stakeholders and the higher management
  • Train and develop junior researchers  

Knowledge and experience

  • 3+ years experience in commercial market research
  • Relevant degree in communication, psychology, marketing, international studies or any other relevant field
  • Proven qualitative experience
  • Thorough understanding of quantitative research tools and techniques
  • Capability to work independently, under pressure and on tight deadlines
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Interest in current affairs, politics, and social issues
  • Ability to give attention to details
