The role
As a Project Manager, you will be in charge of all project management activities in the quantitative department. You will design, implement, execute, monitor and evaluate all quantitative research projects in the company using your skill, knowledge and experience. Further to that, you will act as a liaison between the company and the client to ensure that projects are completed according to specifications and that any issues that may arise are resolved. Furthermore, you will work closely with senior members of the research team to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly.

  
What you’ll do

  • Assist in designing research methods, developing research questions, choosing research techniques, preparing questionnaires, collecting data, making analyses and preparing reports and proposals
  • Plan, coordinate and execute assigned research projects
  • Supervise team members on a daily basis to complete research projects within deadlines
  • Act as an initial contact point for project queries and issues
  • Update budgets and invoicing schedules, and monitor project costs versus budget
  • Identify areas of improvement and develop new methodologies to meet milestones
  • Make reports, presentations, recommendations, proposals and present them to higher management and clients
  • Coordinate with the clients and keep them updated about the project progress and milestones
  • Ensure that research deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements

  
Knowledge and experience

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the social or market research industry
  • Undergraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. social sciences, psychology, sociology, public health)
  • Outstanding project management and communication skills
  • Adept at using SPSS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant software packages
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines
  • Strong understanding of sampling/sample design, questionnaire design, weighting, statistical analysis and reporting
  • Good team player
